Transport of equipment to & from our depot at 45 Police Pools Road Katanning, including piloting if required, is at the cost of the renter. Pilot vehicle requirements – please check your Federal & State laws.
Large equipment dry hire rates are per hectare or a daily rate (calculated at the hectare rate X 8 hours), whichever is the highest
Renters must comprehensively insure the machine whilst in use, including liability & damage cover. Certificate of Currency must be provided before use.
Operators of our equipment should be a careful & responsible operator who has prior training of operating large tractors; familiar with operating tractor and farm machinery; have good safety awareness; have a good understanding of transporting wide & heavy loads on & off roads; understand the risks associated with operating deep ripping machinery and unknown obstacles; have read the associated operator manual; must adhere to all daily maintenance checks tion

210 - 300 horsepower minimum (6.25M)

There are numerous requirements for transporting this machine due to its heavy weight, please consult the operator manual before transporting

In transport ensure the rear Steering wheels are turned straight & the hydraulic ball valves are closed. The Hitch Hydraulic Circuit (Float) must also be in closed position

Stubble Cruncher
& Land Roller
The Mandako 42’ model is a heavy duty machine ideal for thick stubble including high cut canola stalks, efficiently covering 15 hectares per hour.
Benefits of stubble crunching:
· Accelerate decomposition returning valuable organic matter and nutrients to the soil, improving fertility and reducing trash flow on the air seeder bar.
· Weed & pest control the light working of the top layer of soil helps produce early weed germination for early knockdown and reduces pest habitats.
· Improved soil structure crunching returns valuable organic matter and nutrients to the soil, improving fertility, aeration, healthier soil microbiology and moisture retention.
PLUS
Our Mandako 42’ Stubble Crunchers convert into Land Rollers. Land rollers are typically used post seeding, pre-germination - making smooth paddocks by breaking up soil clods, pushing rocks back into the soil or breaking up rocks, avoiding future damage to machines.
Benefits of land rolling:
· Reduce repairs by removing the potential of hitting rocks your will prevent swather and header wear, breakage and downtime.
· Increase crop yields land rolling allows you to cut lower and reach the lower pods of the plant
· Increase in seed germination farmers have reported a 10 – 15 % increase in dry years
Deep Ripper
Our Deep Ripper (both Mandako and NuFab available to dry hire)is a heavy duty deep tillage implement built specifically for WA soils.
Benefits of Deep Ripping:
· Higher yields & healthier crops our machine will penetrate the soil by 800mm enhancing subsoil aeration and moisture retention. WA soils are well known for their compaction. By breaking through compaction this allows plant roots to access subsoil nutrients and moisture.
· Water Infiltration and retention by opening up the subsoil moisture storage will occur in the root zone as runoff will be reduced.
· Improved Soil Aeration the greater air movement in the soil promotes beneficial microbial activity and overall soil health.
Speedtiller
A Speedtiller is a high speed disc-tillage machine designed for soil conditioning and effective penetration. The Speedtilller handles heavy residue with ease, moves the dirt of an offset, and is an excellent finishing tool for levelling and one-pass seedbed preparation.
Benefits of Speed Tilling:
· Crop Residue management & improved seedbed quality crop stubble and residue is chopped and incorporated into the topsoil, promoting faster breakdown and improving soil organic matter and content.
· Weed control speed tilling post harvest/pre seeding disturbs weed seedlings and shallow roots, reducing competition for the next crop. It can also increase germination for an effective early knockdown.
· Reduction in soil erosion from wind and water.
· Fire breaks the smaller tiller is excellent for creating fire breaks around trees and paddock edges.
· Bog marks are easily filled in by a speed tiller.
